PUBLIC NOTICE - CONFERENCE ON INVEST IN TECHNICAL EDUCATION FOR TANZANIA TO BECOME AN INDUSTRIALIZED ECONOMY TO BE HELD ON 6TH - 8TH NOVEMBER, 2017.

CONFERENCE ON INVEST IN TECHNICAL EDUCATION FOR TANZANIA TO BECOME AN INDUSTRIALIZED ECONOMY
Date for the Conference: 6th – 8th November, 2017
Place: APC Hotel and Conference Centre, Dar es salaam
Kindly be informed that the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) in collaboration with the Institute of Adult Education in Finland is organizing an International Conference with the theme: “Invest in Technical Education and Training for Tanzania to Become an Industrialized Economy”. The Conference aims at bringing experience from our Finland counterparts on industry trainers’ collaboration and the importance of such partnership in realization of Tanzania’s government’s efforts of enabling Tanzania to become a middle income industrialized economy by 2025.
This Conference also aims at establishing collaborative networks between technical institutions and the industry both from Tanzania and Finland for the benefit of technical Education, sub sector and industry at large. The Conference is expected to attract experienced trainers and reputable employers from Finland and Tanzania to share experiences on industry – provider institutions linkages and corresponding benefits.
During the Conference various showcases on innovations, products and other services offered by technical institutions will be displayed. The showcases are aimed at informing the industry and other stakeholders on the training services provided by technical institutions and thus call for support in such services via diverse approaches such as field attachment and apprenticeship of trainers as well as internship of graduates. Our Finland Counterparts are as well prepared to showcase their products and services. The showcases are expected to permit experience sharing, learning and networking opportunities for our technical institutions and industry.
In view of the above, and in recognition of your valuable contribution to the development of technical education and training, your institution is cordially invited participate in the aforementioned Conference.
