WELCOME TO TVET TEACHERS REGISTRATION SYSTEM

The National Council for Technical Education Act, Cap. 129, under Section 5(1)(b) and its 2021 amendments under Section 24(1)(a), requires the Council "to register technical and vocational teachers and other qualified technicians". Therefore, TVET Teachers and Technicians are required to register and obtain a NACTVET Registration Identification.

• Obtain the Teachers Registration Identification (TRID) from the Admission Officer of your institution
• Before starting the registration process, please ensure that you have attended the online CBET training. If you haven’t, click on eLearning to get started.
• Ensure you have all the required documents as provided in registration procedures. Click here to download registration procedures
• Applicants with foreign certificates must have their qualifications verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) for university-level qualifications and by NACTVET for certificate and diploma qualifications.
